About Our Nursery

Our new setting provides bright and airy indoor playrooms set up for exciting learning experiences tailored to each child’s age and stage of development. The nursery caters for babies and children from the age of 0-5 years old. The nursery is split into separate play rooms to accommodate the different age ranges. Aside from our busy fun filled playrooms we have comfortable, soothing spaces for your child to rest and sleep when needed.

To add to the excitement we have created a beautiful sensory room for your child to explore a range of textures, colours and lights enhancing your child’s sensory development and learning. The sensory room is a lovely calming option for your child to self regulate, reflect and manage emotions in a soothing environment.

Our nursery also has a securely fenced garden giving your child the opportunity to run freely and explore outdoor activities whilst taking in fresh air on a daily basis. The outdoor environment is set up to reflect on the children’s indoor learning so that they have the same rich experiences indoors and out.

Happy Days Nursery Southam provide all children with healthy, nutritious meals, starting with a wholesome breakfast, followed by a mid-morning snack. At lunchtime we provide a hot meal followed by a healthy dessert. In the afternoon it’s time for a snack followed by a light tea towards the end of the day. We provide a weaning menu for babies and can also cater for any allergies or dietary requirements. The nursery is registered with the Environmental Health Authority and will undergo regular hygiene inspections.

Happy Days Nursery Southam has ample on-site free parking, making drop offs and collections quick and easy. The location of the nursery has good connections to the surrounding areas such as Banbury, Rugby, Leamington Spa and easy links to the M40 motorway.

Our Team

We are proud to have built up an excellent reputation across our nurseries. This comes with our priority to pick caring, well trained, professional staff who access regular training opportunities. It is our policy that all our staff are trained in child protection along with peadiatric first aid training to ensure that your child is kept safe and secure at all times during the nursery day.

Each child will have their own key worker who will develop a strong relationship with your child and observe their achievements and support their development as they flourish in our learning environment. The nursery has a parent area where you can discuss your child’s development with their key worker. At Happy Days Nursery Southam, we believe children learn best when they are happy. We focus on your child’s current interests when we plan activities and we inherit their keen interests throughout the room.

All three nurseries are privately owned by Jo McCarthy. Jo has a personal connection running through all three settings and the excellent reputation of the nurseries reflects on Jo’s importance to provide a high standard of care.
